The police force in Palm Springs may have a fair amount of crime to deal with, but in Josh Eliots "Hot Buttered Cop Porn"(destined to be one of the best movie names of the year), the great thing about the crime here is that it doesn't come in too quickly.
Each officer is allowed oodles of time to handle the perp, long enough to set him (it's always him) right with some sucking and fucking. If word gets out about the leisure time allowed on each crime, it seems to me that police officers from around the country would be flocking to relocate.
